Georgia’s Top CPAs spotlights some of the best and brightest professionals in one of most widely recognized and highly trusted professional designations in the business world.

Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) act as advisers to businesses, individuals, financial institutions, government agencies and nonprofit organizations on a wide range of financial matters. Today, many individuals and businesses turn to CPAs for help with tax preparation, auditing services and advice on developing effective accounting systems.

CPAs are distinguished from other finance professionals by stringent qualification and licensing requirements.  They must pass a comprehensive four part exam covering auditing, taxes, accounting practices and theory, and commercial law.  Once licensed, CPAs are required to obtain 40 hours of continuing education each year.  They are also governed by a professional code of conduct and are self-regulated through the peer review program to ensure integrity.

Businesses are working with CPAs to not only manage finances and taxes, but also to determine profitable new product lines, help with business successions, and provide a variety of other consulting services.

Georgia’s Top CPAs is hosted by Steve Kilpatrick and airs weekly on Fridays at 10am EST.
